This focus led us to find ways to perfect every step of the process. We took the term ‘essential’ literally, and explored it. Staples like this are the foundation of our wardrobe. Their beauty lies in simplicity, hidden in plain sight.

With this mindset, Julie Josephine organically grew to become a full collection and fashion label, founded by Julie Josephine Blystad in 2016. We favor simplicity, functionality, and longevity; and elevate at every opportunity. We bring the same attention to design detail and meticulous pursuit of quality to all our garments, but above all, we consider how they’ll make you feel.
